Planning family home evening lessons for toddlers can be a difficult task. One of the biggest difficulties is bringing the lessons down to your toddler’s level.

I also gladly welcome any ideas you have used that have met with success. This week, we are learning about the conversion of Alma the Younger and how he repents. Children will learn the steps of repentance, and how these steps bring us closer to Christ. As you watch the Book of Mormon movie about Alma, children will move a printed copy of Alma up the steps as he goes through each repentance step.
If you are telling a story show the picture. Let your child hold the pictures and play with any props that you have. If you can incorporate food into the lesson as well, do it.
